What is the Online Shipping Flow?

With PostNL Belgium's Online Shipping Flow you can prepare all your national, European and international parcels for dispatch in just four steps.

  1. Indicate the destination, weight and dimensions of your parcel, whereby you the option of taking out extra insurance for your parcel.
  2. Pay safely online via credit card or Bancontact [debit card].
  3. Print the shipping label and stick it on your parcel.
  4. Present the parcel for dispatch at a PostNL location near you.

Who is the Online Shipping Flow intended for?

This flow is intended for private use.

Can I also use the Online Shipping Flow if I am a contract customer with PostNL?

Contract customers can and may use the Online Shipping Flow. However, shipments under contract are more economical. Request a quote if you send more than 500 parcels per year..

I send more than 500 parcels per year

If you are a business sender and send more than 500 parcels per year, a contractual arrangement is probably a better option. What can I send with Online Shipping Flow?

With PostNL's Online Shipping Flow you can send commercial goods, gifts, documents and returns. Agreements have been made per country with network partners about what may or may not be sent. If you want to be sure that the content of your parcel complies with these agreements check here.

Do I get an invoice?

No, but you will receive a confirmation e-mail with all the details, including for your payment. Would you like an invoice because you are a business customer? Then we recommend MyParcel. Or a fixed contract with PostNL Parcels.

Return an Online Shipping Flow parcel?

If you or the recipient of your parcel want to return an Online Shipment Flow parcel, you must create a new label. Once your label has been paid, print this new return label and affix it on the parcel. Then hand it over at the nearest PostNL location and your parcel will be returned to sender.

Please note: the return address must be that of the end recipient and not that of PostNL.
