Would you like to determine where we deliver your parcel as standard, even if you are not at home? Then set your delivery preferences once for all your parcels. For example at a PostNL point or in a safe place, such as your garden shed.

Do my delivery preferences apply to all parcels?

We always adhere to your delivery preferences, unless we need a signature for receipt to deliver your parcel. In that case, we may only give it to you personally.

We may deliver your parcel to you only when you:

  • Need a signature for receipt
  • Have to show proof of identity
  • You must be 18 years or older to receive your parcel

It may also be what you have ordered, such as medicine or food.

When do my new delivery preferences take effect?

For parcels that are already on their way to you, your set delivery preference does not yet apply. All subsequent parcels will be delivered according to your preferences.

Which PostNL point will my parcel go to?

We will deliver your parcel to a PostNL point close to you. The app and track & trace will show you where we delivered your parcel. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to choose your own PostNL point.
